CTD Conducts Operations in Khyber; 6 Terrorists Killed in Jamrud and Peshawar

**Khyber (Daily Qudrat):**
The **Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa** conducted separate operations in **Jamrud** and the outskirts of **Peshawar**, killing **six terrorists**.

According to a **CTD statement**, the first operation took place in the **Tipu Sano Bacha graveyard area of Peshawar’s suburbs** based on verified intelligence. In an **ambush operation**, **three terrorists were killed**, while several of their accomplices escaped by blending into the local population. A **search-and-strike operation** is ongoing to apprehend the fugitives.

The second operation targeted **Fitna al-Khawarij elements** in **Nake Kaly near Shah Kas Bypass Road in Jamrud**, resulting in the killing of **three terrorists**. Two others fled into nearby hilly terrain and are still being pursued.

The CTD confirmed that the slain terrorists were active members of **Fitna al-Khawarij**, involved in **attacks on security forces, murder, attempted murder, extortion, and other terrorist activities**. Weapons recovered from the terrorists included **three Kalashnikov rifles and explosives**.

The statement praised the **CTD Special Weapons and Tactics teams**, commending their courage and dedication. Officials noted that these forces remain a **source of pride for the nation**, risking their lives to eliminate terrorism and maintain peace and security.
