I Will Keep Speaking the Truth Against Wrongdoing, Says Fiza Ali in Response to Critics
Lahore: Renowned Pakistani actress and television host Fiza Ali has responded to criticism over her recent remarks targeting celebrities, stating that she will continue to speak the truth against mistakes and wrong practices.
Fiza Ali has frequently remained in the spotlight due to viral controversies, with her morning show and social media videos attracting significant attention. Recently, she openly criticized several public figures on her morning show, including questioning claims related to Kashif Zameer, objecting to statements made by Nida Yasir, and calling out what she described as regressive remarks by Saba Faisal regarding daughters and daughters-in-law.
Actor and director Yasir Nawaz had earlier taken a dig at Fiza Ali, suggesting that she should find some other activity instead of focusing on criticizing others.
In response, Fiza Ali shared a video message on Instagram, saying that people are afraid of her, and that she actually likes it. She explained that she does not target individuals by name, but highlights mistakes and exposes what she called wrong teachings. “In Pakistan, the most dangerous thing is speaking the truth,” she said.
She added that she calls people out when daughters-in-law are forced to remain silent, when fake gold is presented as real, and when celebrities speak against the rights of poor riders. According to her, those who are in the wrong are naturally afraid of being exposed.
“I am not against anyone personally,” Fiza Ali said. “I will keep speaking the truth against wrongdoing, and the truth always finds its way,” she added.
