Pakistan to Release Film *Mera Lyari* in Response to Indian Propaganda Movie*

*Karachi:* In response to what has been described as propaganda against Pakistan and Lyari in the Indian film *Dharandhar*, a Pakistani film titled *Mera Lyari* has been produced and is set for release in the first week of January.
The Sindh government has supported the production of *Mera Lyari*. Provincial Minister for Information and Transport Sharjeel Inam Memon said the film will be released internationally and aims to present the true image of Lyari. He stated that India suffered a humiliating defeat in the war and cannot turn that loss into a victory through films.
Sharjeel Memon said the Indian film *Dharandhar* is based on negative propaganda against Pakistan, particularly targeting Lyari. He emphasized that Lyari is not a symbol of violence, but represents culture, peace, talent, resilience, and courage.
He added that *Mera Lyari*, scheduled for release next month, will showcase the real face of Lyari, highlighting peace, prosperity, and pride associated with the historic area.
It is noteworthy that the Indian film *Dharandhar* was recently released in India and features prominent actors including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Sanjay Dutt in leading roles.
