Demolition of Splinji and Gondeen Villages a Grave Human Rights Violation, Says Nawab Aslam Raisani

**Quetta:** Former Chief Minister of Balochistan and Chief of Sarawan, **Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani**, strongly condemned the government’s demolition of two tribal villages—**Splinji** and **Gondeen**—in Mastung, calling it a severe violation of fundamental human rights.
In a statement posted on social media platform X, Nawab Raisani said the act not only destroys homes and livelihoods but also tramples long-standing tribal customs and traditions. He stressed that the state has a primary responsibility to protect its citizens from the misuse of authority or unnecessary force by powerful institutions.
He warned that such actions damage the trust between citizens and the state, affecting social balance and stability.
Nawab Raisani urged the government to immediately halt such operations and ensure peace, justice, and the protection of human rights in tribal regions to maintain public confidence.
He added that safeguarding the rights and traditions of tribal communities is the state’s foremost duty, and negligence in this regard should not be tolerated under any circumstances.
