23 Militants Killed in Two Successful Operations by Security Forces in Kurram

Security forces have eliminated 23 militants in two separate intelligence-based operations in the Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The ISPR said that 12 terrorists belonging to the India-backed extremist faction “Khawarij” were killed in a targeted operation after security forces effectively engaged their hideout. In another intelligence-driven action, 11 additional militants were neutralized.

The military’s media wing stated that follow-up clearance operations are underway in the area to eliminate any remaining threats. These operations form part of **Operation Azm-e-Istehkam**, aimed at eradicating terrorism and ensuring lasting stability in the region.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for their professionalism and bravery, congratulating the officers and personnel involved in the successful missions. He reaffirmed the nation’s resolve to continue the fight against terrorism until it is completely eliminated.

“The entire nation stands firmly alongside the armed forces in their unwavering commitment to protect the homeland,” the Prime Minister said.
