Suspect Arrested for Transporting Islamabad Judicial Complex Suicide Bomber

ISLAMABAD: Police have achieved a major breakthrough in the investigation of the suicide blast at the Islamabad Judicial Complex, arresting the man who transported the bomber to the court premises.
According to police sources, the preliminary investigation revealed that the suicide attacker reached the site using an **online motorcycle service**. The driver who transported the bomber has now been taken into custody for interrogation. Police said the attacker traveled from **Golra to the Judicial Complex** after agreeing to a fare of **Rs. 200**.
Authorities have launched further investigations to determine **who facilitated the bomber’s movement to Golra**, gathering evidence of possible local assistance.
The initial inquiry into the explosion has also been completed. Forensic reports indicate that **7 to 8 kilograms of explosives** were used in the attack. Statements of security personnel present at the scene have been recorded, and **geo-fencing and forensic analysis** have been finalized. Police have also identified a **suspicious vehicle and motorcycle** linked to the incident.
According to the report, the suicide bomber, a **resident of Bajaur**, arrived in Islamabad on Friday and traveled from **Pir Wadhai to G-11 Judicial Complex** on a motorcycle. The attacker was wearing a shawl at the time of the blast.
A spokesperson for PIMS Hospital confirmed that **ten victims of the attack have been identified**, while two remain unidentified. Seven bodies have been handed over to their families after postmortem examinations.
The total number of injured stands at **36**, with **18 discharged** after receiving medical aid. Four of the remaining injured are said to be in **critical condition**, according to hospital officials.
