Cement Sales and Exports Rise Sharply in First Quarter of FY2025
Islamabad: Pakistan’s cement industry has recorded a significant **16.25% increase** in total sales during the **first quarter of the fiscal year 2025**, according to data released by the **All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association (APCMA)**.
During the first three months of FY2025, total cement sales reached **12.161 million tons**, compared to **10.461 million tons** in the same period last year.
Domestic sales stood at **9.573 million tons**, reflecting a **15% growth** from **8.319 million tons** in the corresponding period of FY2024.
Exports also showed strong performance, rising **20.81%** to **2.589 million tons**, up from **2.143 million tons** in the same period last year.
In **September 2025** alone, total cement dispatches were recorded at **4.25 million tons**, compared to **3.97 million tons** in **September 2024**, indicating continued growth momentum.
Industry experts attribute this upward trend to **revived construction activity** in the domestic market and **rising demand from export destinations**, calling it a **positive indicator for Pakistan’s industrial output** and overall economic recovery.
