PIA Officially Announces Resumption of UK Operations; Islamabad-Manchester Flights Begin October 25

Islamabad: Pakistan International Airlines (**PIA**) has officially announced the resumption of its **flight operations to the United Kingdom**, with the first phase set to begin on **October 25, 2025**.
Under the initial schedule, PIA will operate **two weekly flights** between **Islamabad and Manchester** on **Tuesdays and Saturdays**.
According to the flight schedule, the PIA flight will **depart from Islamabad at 12:00 PM** and **arrive in Manchester at 5:00 PM local time**. The **return flight from Manchester** will **depart at 7:00 PM** and **land in Islamabad at 7:00 AM** the following morning.
A PIA spokesperson stated that the **number of Manchester flights will gradually increase**, and in the **second phase**, PIA also plans to **resume flights to London**.
The spokesperson added that **ticket bookings are now open** and **competitive fares** have been introduced. “Our compatriots can now reach their destination in **just 8 hours instead of 15**, and after five years, PIA is excited to restart this important route,” the spokesperson said.
Reaffirming the airline’s commitment, the spokesperson added, “PIA’s mission is to provide passengers with **comfortable, safe, and fully equipped travel services** that meet international standards.”
