Gold Prices Drop Sharply in Pakistan — Per Tola Falls by Rs 5,900

Karachi: On Thursday, July 24, 2025, gold prices in Pakistan saw a significant decline, reflecting a downward trend in the international bullion market.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs 5,900, bringing the new price down to Rs 359,000 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs 5,058, now standing at Rs 307,784.
This drop comes just a day after a substantial Rs 3,700 increase was recorded on Wednesday, when the gold price had reached Rs 364,900 per tola.
Global Market Trend:
The international gold market also witnessed a decline. Gold prices fell by $61, bringing the new global rate to $3,363 per ounce, which includes a $20 premium.
Silver Prices Also Decrease:
In addition to gold, silver prices also dipped. The per tola price of silver declined by Rs 24, now priced at Rs 4,057.
The sharp drop in gold prices has caught many traders and investors by surprise, especially after recent upward momentum.
