Dramatic Resolution of Lahore’s Million-Rupee Theft: Maid and Driver Involved

Lahore: The mystery behind a theft of Rs. 1.06 million in cash and 40 tolas of gold in Lahore has been dramatically solved, with the house owner herself being the mastermind behind the crime. The Women Police Station Races Course, with the help of modern technology, arrested two suspects involved in the heist.
According to Dawn News, police officials solved the case in an unexpected manner, revealing that the house owner conspired with her driver to orchestrate the theft. The Station House Officer (SHO) of the Women Police Station Races Course disclosed that during the investigation, it was revealed that the owner, while other family members were absent, planned the heist with the driver. The firearm used in the robbery was also provided to the driver by the house owner herself.
The SHO further explained that after the crime, the house owner secretly met the driver to collect the stolen money and gold. The driver confessed that he was tempted by the money and gold, which led to the crime being staged.
SP Civil Lines, Chaudhry Asar Ali, stated that some of the stolen cash, gold, and the pistol had been recovered from the suspects. A case has been filed against them, and further investigation is underway.
Police officials emphasized that the protection of citizens’ lives and property remains their top priority. They urged the public to follow the law and not to get involved in crimes driven by greed, as the police are always vigilant and committed to their duty.
