Chaudhry Pervez Elahi Criticizes PML-N, Claims People Have Become More Aware

LAHORE – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, has hit out at the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), claiming that instead of fooling the public, they are only deceiving themselves. He asserted that the nation has become more awakened and politically conscious.

In a statement, Elahi recalled how PTI and its founder, Imran Khan, stood firmly with the Pakistani military when the nation and army needed support. He lauded the sacrifices made by the armed forces, stating, “Our army secured victory through their martyrdom, and the entire nation pays tribute to them.”

Elahi further criticized the PML-N leadership, saying that they were not fooling the people but themselves. He remarked that the public has become more aware and is no longer easily deceived.

He also addressed PML-N’s claim that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had devised the strategy for the war, humorously adding, “Thankfully, the PML-N hasn’t claimed that it was Nawaz Sharif who also dreamt of Allama Iqbal’s vision.”

This latest exchange of remarks highlights the ongoing political rivalry between PTI and PML-N, with both parties regularly accusing each other of misleading the public and undermining the nation’s institutions.
