Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian Criticizes Trump’s Mixed Signals, Vows to Continue Nuclear Talks Without Fear

Tehran:Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has criticized former U.S. President Donald Trump for sending conflicting messages, stating that Trump talks about peace while simultaneously issuing threats.

According to international media reports, President Pezeshkian affirmed Iran’s commitment to continuing nuclear negotiations with the United States but emphasized that Tehran would not be intimidated by threats.

*“We do not want war, but we will not back down from our legitimate rights,”* Pezeshkian declared. He questioned the credibility of the U.S. stance, asking, *“Donald Trump talks about peace and issues threats at the same time — what are we supposed to believe?”*

The Iranian president further stated that Iran is labeled as a destabilizing force in the region simply because it refuses to bow to bullying tactics. *“Our resistance is misrepresented as aggression, but we will stand firm in defending our sovereignty,”* he added.

His remarks come amid renewed international attention on Iran’s nuclear program and growing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
