DG ISPR Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Says Pakistan Army Has Fulfilled Its Duty, Urges Unity Against Terrorism

Islamabad:Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, stated that those who previously questioned the role of the Pakistan Army must now reflect on whether the Army has fulfilled its responsibilities.

Addressing students and teachers in Islamabad, the DG ISPR posed a powerful question: *”Will you not now hold accountable those who spoke against our officers and soldiers? Who were they to cast doubt on our armed forces?”*

Lt Gen Sharif emphasized that the Pakistan Army is an integral part of the people, and the people are an inseparable part of the Army. He highlighted the significance of national unity, declaring that no terrorist can survive when the people and the military stand together.

He accused India of being behind the acts of terrorism occurring within Pakistan and reassured that the country’s future is not only secure but also bright and promising.

In his address, he extended a special salute on behalf of the armed forces to all teachers across the country and acknowledged the vital role of youth in nation-building. He urged the public to stay united in the face of adversaries and be aware of hostile intentions against the country.

Lt Gen Sharif concluded by reiterating the importance of collective resolve and national solidarity in overcoming threats and ensuring peace in Pakistan.
