Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Consults Political Leaders on Successful ‘Operation Banyan Al-Marsous’ Against India

Islamabad:In the wake of Pakistan’s successful military operation **“Operation Banyan Al-Marsous”**, Prime Minister **Shehbaz Sharif** reached out to various political leaders for consultations regarding the ongoing situation and the country’s defense strategy.
According to sources, Prime Minister Sharif held **telephonic discussions** with prominent leaders including **Chairman of PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari**, **PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar**, **JUI-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman**, **MQM’s Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui**, **Jamaat-e-Islami’s Amir Hafiz Naeem Rehman**, **Balochistan Awami Party’s Khalid Magsi**, and **PML-Q’s Chaudhry Salik Hussain**, among others.
During the calls, the Prime Minister provided updates on **Pakistan’s military strategy** and the **successful retaliatory actions** taken in response to India’s aggression. The political leadership, in turn, praised the **professionalism and bravery** of Pakistan’s armed forces and their **effective response**.
All political leaders expressed **solidarity with the Pakistan Army**, emphasizing **national unity** and the **country’s security**. They commended the military’s swift and resolute action, underscoring the importance of standing united in times of crisis.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reassured the leaders that **Pakistan’s military forces** had delivered a powerful and forceful response to India. He mentioned that, despite facing missile and drone strikes from India, Pakistan had initially acted with restraint, offering a **neutral investigation** into the **Pahalgaam incident**, but this was rejected by India.
The Prime Minister also highlighted India’s **targeting of unarmed civilians** in places like **Nur Khan Airbase**, and how Pakistan’s armed forces effectively retaliated. He explained that during **Operation Banyan Al-Marsous**, Pakistani forces targeted key military installations in India that were used to launch attacks on Pakistan.
Expressing his pride in the **bravery of Pakistan’s armed forces**, the Prime Minister congratulated the nation on the success of the operation. He thanked political leaders for their clear support, calling it a **symbol of national unity**.
According to sources, Prime Minister Sharif is scheduled to address the nation this evening, in which he will provide an overview of the current situation and outline the country’s future course of action.
