Alizeh Shah Exposes Dark Side of Showbiz Industry, Calls Out Unethical Practices

Islamabad: Pakistani actress Alizeh Shah has stirred controversy and sparked widespread discussion after making bold revelations about unethical behavior in the showbiz industry. Taking to her Instagram account, the actress spoke out against the rampant use of favoritism, personal connections, and manipulative tactics to secure roles in the entertainment world.
In a strongly worded post, Alizeh criticized the prevalence of “fake policies” and condemned the culture of using influence and so-called “parchi” (recommendation slips) to gain work. She emphasized that she has never resorted to such methods and has always prioritized her self-respect.
Taking a sarcastic tone, she wrote, “What’s the point of being professional in this industry? Dinners and then those behind-closed-doors rituals—if you say no, you’re immediately labeled as rude or not serious about your career.”
She added, “Thankfully, I never read the memo that said you have to sell your self-respect as part of a PR package.”
Concluding her statement, Alizeh Shah remarked, “If this is the price of fame, I’m happy just being a human.”
Her remarks have highlighted the troubling realities within the entertainment sector, where personal interests and networks often overshadow talent and professionalism. The statement has triggered intense debate among industry insiders and audiences alike.
