Opposition Alliance Ready for Talks, Claims Government is Obstructing Conference

Prime Minister’s Advisor on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, has stated that the government is ready for dialogue and has urged the opposition alliance to present its agenda. Speaking in a private TV interview, he clarified that the government did not stop the opposition from holding a conference in Islamabad, and urged opposition leaders to speak the truth about the matter.
Rana Sanaullah emphasized that the presence of leaders like Mahmood Achakzai and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in the opposition alliance would bring wisdom to the process, as such informed individuals would pave the way for meaningful dialogue. He reiterated that negotiations are the key to resolving all issues, but pointed out that certain individuals were responsible for obstructing talks on the night of November 25 and 26, which is well known to all.
Meanwhile, the first day of the opposition alliance’s two-day national conference was held today in Islamabad, with politicians, lawyers, journalists, and other notable figures attending to openly discuss the country’s issues. At the conclusion of the first day, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Omar Ayub, and other leaders addressed the media, claiming that the government is afraid of the Constitution. They confirmed that they would attend the conference on the second day, regardless of the challenges posed.
The opposition alliance has accused the government of hindering the conference, but they remain determined to continue with their discussions.
