Kazakhstan and Pakistan Decide to Establish Display Centers for Products and Machinery

Islamabad: In a bid to boost trade between Kazakhstan and Pakistan, a high-level meeting has decided to establish display centers for products and machinery. The meeting, chaired by Federal Minister for Investment Board, Privatization, and Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan, was attended by Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Yerzhan Kustafin, who showed strong interest in the initiative.
The display centers will showcase a range of products, including textiles, surgical instruments, sports goods, handicrafts, leather products, and agricultural machinery. Abdul Aleem Khan emphasized that both countries will provide extensive facilities for their business communities under one roof, aiming to increase bilateral trade by 100% over the next three years. He also mentioned that foreign investors would no longer need to visit different cities, as their needs would be met at a single center.
Ambassador Yerzhan Kustafin expressed full support for the establishment of these display centers and pledged Kazakhstan’s cooperation. Khan added that Pakistan aims to increase its exports to Kazakhstan by 20% within a year and will also adopt a joint business strategy with other Central Asian nations. Centers showcasing Pakistani products will be established in major cities like Almaty, Baku, and others, with policies tailored to the demands of each country.
Abdul Aleem Khan also reassured that the display centers would be located in key locations easily accessible to the business community. The meeting was attended by the Pakistani Ambassador to Kazakhstan, federal secretaries, and senior officials who provided briefings.
