582 Terrorist Incidents in Balochistan in Recent Period, 307 People Killed: Federal Interior Ministry Report
Quetta:According to the latest report presented by the Ministry of Interior, Balochistan has witnessed a total of 582 terrorist incidents in recent times, resulting in the loss of 307 lives. The report reveals that of the deceased, 110 were security personnel, while 197 were civilians. Additionally, numerous individuals have been injured in these terrorist incidents and have been provided with medical assistance in hospitals.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi highlighted that these statistics reflect the gravity of the security situation in Balochistan and emphasized the urgent need for immediate action by the government to address this challenge. He further stated that security forces are actively engaged in counterterrorism operations, and the government is making vigorous efforts to restore peace and order in the province.
The report also mentioned that the rise in terrorist activities in Balochistan is linked to the activities of local extremist groups and terrorist organizations supported by foreign powers. Authorities have stressed the need for enhanced cooperation at both internal and external levels to overcome this situation.
The report was presented to underline the sacrifices made by the Pakistani public and security forces in the ongoing fight against terrorism, highlighting the challenges faced in Balochistan.
