Former PTI Media Coordinator Publicly Apologizes to Nawaz Sharif
Lahore: Javed Badr, the former media coordinator of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Punjab, has issued a public apology to the president of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N), Nawaz Sharif, for his past allegations and criticisms. In an open letter, Badr expressed regret for the unjust accusations he had made against Sharif and admitted to causing harm.
Badr acknowledged his mistakes, stating that the accusations he had leveled against Nawaz Sharif were baseless and uncalled for. He further requested that Sharif consider his actions as a result of immaturity and ignorance. Badr emphasized that the apology was not due to any external pressure or personal gain, but was written voluntarily out of a sense of conscience and fear of accountability in the hereafter.
The former PTI media coordinator also confessed to playing a role in spreading political poison within the PTI leadership, misguiding the youth, and fostering division within society. He offered an apology to the parents of those misled and to the entire nation.
Badr also stated that false cases had been fabricated against Nawaz Sharif, and he himself had been unjustly imprisoned. He revealed that his disillusionment with the PTI started after the appointment of Usman Buzdar as Chief Minister and the alleged corruption of Bushra Bibi, leading him to distance himself from the party. Badr criticized the PTI government for emptying the national treasury, damaging international relations, and fostering hostility towards the military.
In his letter, Badr praised Nawaz Sharif and his team for their contributions to Pakistan’s stability, acknowledging their significant role in the country’s development. He expressed a desire to meet Nawaz Sharif in person to personally apologize for his past mistakes.
