Shir Afzal Marwat Granted Protective Bail Until December 20, Court Orders Non-Arrest
Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court has granted protective bail to Shir Afzal Marwat until December 20 and ordered him to appear before the relevant court. The court also directed the Islamabad and Punjab police not to arrest Marwat during this period.
In response to a report submitted by the Islamabad police, which outlined 15 cases registered against Marwat in the capital, the court instructed the Inspector General (IG) of Punjab to provide details of any cases registered against him in Punjab. The court also directed that the relevant records be obtained from the Punjab government, and until this information is provided, Marwat should not be arrested in any case in Punjab.
The court has ordered Marwat to present himself in the concerned courts by December 20.
