Firing on Police Personnel Is Regrettable and Condemnable; Elements Involved Will Be Brought to Justice: Shahid Rind
Quetta (Qudrat Daily) — Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Balochistan for Information and Political Affairs, Shahid Rind, has expressed sorrow and strongly condemned the incident in which unidentified assailants opened fire on the vehicle of the SHO of Satellite Town near Mir Hotel within the jurisdiction of Shaheed Amir Muhammad Dasti Police Station, resulting in the martyrdom of one police constable and the injury of four personnel.
In his condemnation statement, Shahid Rind said that the firing incident on police personnel is regrettable and condemnable. He paid tribute to the sacrifice of the police constable who laid down his life while performing his duties.
Expressing heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the family of the martyred official, he said that he stands equally with the bereaved family in their grief at this hour of sorrow.
The Special Assistant to the Chief Minister said that the police personnel injured in the incident are being provided with the best medical facilities. Investigations into the incident are ongoing, and necessary measures are being taken to bring the elements involved in the firing to justice.
He said that the services and sacrifices of police personnel for the establishment of peace and order and the protection of the lives and property of citizens are commendable.
