Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) – Central PTI leader Zulfi Bukhari has said that Imran Khan’s cousin Qasim Zaman is a completely non-political person, yet he was arrested under 3MPO. Instead of being “reset,” the country is being weakened. In his reaction on X, he said that Imran Khan’s cousin, Qasim Zaman, a completely non-political individual who never made any public statement nor participated in politics, has now also been taken into custody under the harsh 3MPO.

And all of this is happening at a time when the United Nations Secretary-General is visiting Pakistan. Surely, the treatment meted out to Imran Khan and the matter of his fundamental rights should be on the agenda.
But similarly, the detention of his family members, party leaders, and workers, and alleged political revenge actions, should also be discussed. Pakistan is not being “reset.” Rather, it is being weakened by such actions. It may be recalled that the police have taken into custody Qasim Zaman, cousin of PTI founding chairman Imran Khan.
According to reports, Qasim Zaman had gone to Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi on the scheduled day for a family meeting with the PTI founder, where police took him into custody from Factory Naka and shifted him to a nearby police post. After this incident, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar initiated high-level contacts to secure Qasim Zaman’s immediate release and resolve the matter.
