UBL Introduces Zero-Markup Financing Offer for Jetour X70 Plus and Dashing Buyers

ISLAMABAD: United Bank Limited (UBL) has introduced a new vehicle financing offer for customers looking to purchase Jetour vehicles, providing one-year financing at zero percent markup on two models — the Jetour X70 Plus and Dashing.

Under the limited-time scheme, customers can obtain vehicle financing of up to Rs3 million. According to the financing schedule issued by the bank, no markup will be charged if the financing is repaid over a one-year period.

For customers opting for a two-year financing plan, the markup rate will be 8 percent, while a three-year plan will carry a 10 percent markup.

The offer is aimed at reducing the financial burden on vehicle buyers during the initial year and providing financing on relatively easier terms.

The scheme covers two Jetour models. According to the company, the Jetour X70 Plus is priced at Rs8.299 million, while the Jetour Dashing is available for Rs7.899 million.

Interested customers can contact Jetour Pakistan through its official website or helpline at +92 304 1112777 and provide their details. The company’s team will subsequently contact eligible customers to proceed with the financing process.

Pakistan’s auto industry has faced challenges in recent years due to inflation, fluctuations in the value of the rupee and elevated interest rates. Expensive auto financing has also affected sales of new vehicles.

Amid the current economic environment, where conventional bank financing rates have remained around 20 percent, lower- or zero-markup offers by banks and automakers are being viewed as an effort to attract potential buyers.

Although the financing limit of Rs3 million is less than half the total price of either vehicle, the scheme could provide relief to customers who can afford a substantial down payment and want to avoid higher markup costs on the remaining amount.

The zero-percent markup offer for one year, followed by markup rates of 8 percent and 10 percent for two- and three-year plans respectively, provides an alternative financing option for consumers considering a new vehicle purchase under the prevailing economic conditions.
