PTI Mobilizes Thousands of Workers for Islamabad Protest, Spends Millions on Logistics

Islamabad:Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), led by former Prime Minister Imran Khan, has initiated a large-scale mobilization of its workers for a major protest in Islamabad. Despite the high costs and logistical challenges involved, the party is determined to demonstrate its strength in the capital.

According to senior PTI sources, over 1,200 workers from Karachi have already arrived in Islamabad, with thousands more expected to follow in the coming days. Sources also revealed that the total number of PTI workers from Karachi alone could reach up to 12,000, with some already en route while others are set to depart soon.

Each worker’s travel expenses from Karachi to Islamabad are estimated at approximately 20,000 Pakistani Rupees, which the party is reportedly covering. The total cost for sending 12,000 workers from Karachi is expected to exceed 250 million rupees, with further expenses depending on the continuation of the campaign.

A senior party leader, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed to **V News** that the operation is being conducted with strict secrecy, in line with the party’s strategic plan to maintain a low profile until all workers have gathered in Islamabad. This initiative is part of PTI’s broader strategy to present a powerful show of force in the capital, as part of its ongoing political struggle.

Sources close to PTI say the decision to mobilize such a large number of workers from distant cities like Karachi underscores the party’s commitment to the protest, despite the significant financial and logistical burden. The leadership has reportedly distributed responsibilities across various levels of the party to manage these expenses more effectively.

This move is seen as a critical step in PTI’s plan to ramp up pressure on the current government, with the party aiming to make a visible impact in Islamabad and further galvanize its supporters nationwide.

While PTI’s financial commitment to this protest is considerable, the outcome will depend on the success of their mobilization efforts and the level of public support they can sustain during the demonstration.
