Jamaat-e-Islami Announces March Towards Islamabad on September 20

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) — Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has announced a march towards Islamabad on September 20.

Addressing a gathering in Gujranwala, the Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer said that today there is no one to speak on Pakistan’s problems, and a small class is responsible for the public’s current circumstances.

In his address, Hafiz Naeem said that it is said that petrol prices have increased due to the global market — tell us, why are there levies and heavy taxes?

The Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer said that they charge the price of local oil equal to imported oil.

He further said that the government said it is compelled and cannot reduce petrol prices, and the government has continuously sought more time from our team.

The Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer said that there will be a march towards Islamabad on September 20.

It may be recalled that for the past 27 days, Jamaat-e-Islami sit-ins against petroleum levy and inflation have been ongoing in various cities of the country.
