Petrol and Diesel Prices Increased, New Rates Take Effect at Midnight

ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced an increase in the prices of petroleum products.

According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs1.08 per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel has gone up by Rs0.51 per litre.

Following the revision, the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs343.87 per litre, while diesel will cost Rs370.92 per litre.

The revised prices have been set until September 1, and will come into effect from 12 midnight tonight.
