Sukkur:The Sindh Health Department has announced a new date for the re-examination of the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) for students applying to medical colleges in Sindh. According to a spokesperson for the department, the re-test will be conducted on December 8, 2024, under the supervision of the Sukkur Institute of Business Administration (IBA).

The spokesperson further confirmed that test centers will be set up across various cities, including three centers in Karachi, and one center each in Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Nawabshah, Sukkur, and Larkana. A total of 38,609 candidates from across the province are expected to participate in the re-examination.

The MDCAT re-test will be conducted by IBA Sukkur, as the institute has been designated to oversee the examination process. The re-test is a critical step for aspiring medical students in the province, as it will determine their eligibility for admission to Sindh’s medical colleges.
