Imran Khan’s Sister Aleema Khan Vows to Lead Protest if His Release is Delayed
Islamabad:Aliya Khan, the sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has stated that her brother is determined to lead the planned protests on November 24 if he is granted release. Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail following Imran Khan’s bail in the Toshakhana Case 2, she emphasized that her brother had endured significant injustice and that, with the recent bail, he is no longer under arrest in this particular case.
She further added that if Imran Khan is not released despite the bail, the family and PTI workers would sit outside Adiala Jail in protest, as their patience has run out.
“Imran Khan has suffered enough, and if he is not released soon, we will not hesitate to take stronger actions,” Aliya Khan stated.
However, despite the bail in the Toshakhana Case, Imran Khan remains under detention in connection with other legal matters. As a result, his immediate release is still uncertain.
Meanwhile, senior PTI leaders who met Imran Khan in jail have reportedly urged him to reconsider leading the November 24 protest, citing concerns over the feasibility of mobilizing large crowds to Islamabad.
