Ayesha Gullah Munh Case: Rawalpindi Police Contact KP Police, Key Developments Emerge

Peshawar: Rawalpindi Police has expanded its investigation into the alleged murder of renowned TikToker Shamso Bibi, also known as Ayesha Gullah Munh, in Taxila and has formally contacted Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police regarding the case.

According to police sources cited by Tribal News Network, the suspects wanted in connection with the shooting are reportedly from Dir. Their photographs and other relevant information have been shared with local police authorities, while a special team of Rawalpindi Police is expected to travel to Dir soon to take further action.

Meanwhile, investigators have made significant progress in the case. Police teams, with the help of Safe City cameras and CCTV footage, have reportedly detained four suspects, including two alleged facilitators who helped the fleeing suspects.

Police officials said the motorcycle used in the attack had no number plate, while the riders were wearing helmets.

According to details of the incident, on August 14, Shamso Bibi allegedly received a phone call from a man identified as Kashif alias Kashi, who asked her to come outside her home immediately.

She subsequently left in a vehicle accompanied by her brother Naimatullah and her 15-year-old sister Asma. When they reached near a petrol station, motorcycle-borne assailants allegedly opened indiscriminate fire at their vehicle.

One of the bullets struck Shamso Bibi in the neck, killing her at the scene. The vehicle went out of control and collided with another vehicle, leaving her sister Asma seriously injured.

Police are continuing their investigation and efforts to trace and arrest the suspects allegedly involved in the attack.
