Mustafa Amir Murder Case: Charges Framed in Five Cases, Hearing Date Set
KARACHI: A special anti-terrorism court has set a date for framing charges against the accused in five cases related to the Mustafa Amir murder case.
The Anti-Terrorism Court heard the Mustafa Amir murder case along with four other cases. The court rejected the accused’s plea seeking to transfer the murder case to the sessions court.
The court, however, approved the complainant’s request for a joint trial of the cases. It ordered that the five cases against accused Armaghan and others be consolidated and set a date for framing joint charges against the accused.
The court also sought arguments on accused Sheraz’s bail application at the next hearing.
The Special Anti-Terrorism Court subsequently adjourned further proceedings in all five cases until August 24.
