D.I. Khan: Youth Arrested for Indecent Acts While Disguised as Woman on Independence Day

D.I. KHAN: Police in Dera Ismail Khan have arrested a young man for allegedly engaging in indecent acts while disguised as a woman during Independence Day celebrations.

According to police, the youth was arrested within the jurisdiction of City Police Station after reportedly wearing a white burqa and pretending to be a woman while allegedly engaging in inappropriate behaviour on Independence Day night.

Police said the suspect had worn the white burqa to conceal his identity and was allegedly involved in indecent acts during the celebrations.

The police said the youth’s actions were viewed as disrespectful toward the traditional white burqa associated with the local culture and identity of Dera Ismail Khan.

Following a complaint, police took immediate action and arrested the suspect.

Further legal proceedings against the arrested youth have been initiated, police said.
