Armed Forces Congratulate Nation on Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day: ISPR

ISLAMABAD: The Armed Forces of Pakistan have extended their heartfelt congratulations to the nation on the joyous occasion of the country’s 79th Independence Day.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal, along with the Naval Chief and Air Chief, conveyed their Independence Day greetings to the nation.

The ISPR said the Armed Forces paid rich tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and all those who made sacrifices for Pakistan’s independence.

The statement said the vision, courage and determination of the founders of Pakistan continued to serve as a source of guidance for the nation. Their vision and principles, it added, continued to inspire the people to uphold Pakistan’s ideology and national values.

The Armed Forces also paid tribute to the great sacrifices of the martyrs and saluted the services and contributions of the country’s Ghazis and veterans.

The ISPR acknowledged the services of law-enforcement personnel and recognized the national contributions of every Pakistani.

It said the selfless sacrifices and services of martyrs, Ghazis, law-enforcement personnel and the Pakistani nation had strengthened the country’s resilience.

The Armed Forces reaffirmed their commitment to the ideals and values associated with the creation of Pakistan and congratulated the nation on the 79th Independence Day.
