Former Cricketer Aaqib Javed’s Daughter Marries Foreign National in UK

KARACHI: Former Pakistan cricketer and current national team head coach Aaqib Javed’s daughter, Aqba Aaqib, has tied the knot with a foreign national in the United Kingdom.

Pictures from the wedding were shared on social media by Aaqib Javed’s wife, renowned poet and writer Farzana Aaqib.

In the photographs, Aqba can be seen wearing an elegant white bridal dress, while her husband is dressed in a formal suit. Tattoos can also be seen on the arms of both the bride and groom.

Sharing the pictures on Facebook, Farzana Aaqib revealed that her daughter’s wedding took place in the UK on August 9. She congratulated her daughter and son-in-law and prayed for a happy and successful life for both families.

Aqba Aaqib is reportedly highly educated. Around three to four years ago, she completed her graduation in Media and International Journalism from the University of Sussex in the UK.

Farzana Aaqib is also known for her literary work, particularly English poetry. Her Facebook page has more than 300,000 followers, and according to her profile, she has authored more than 70 books of English poetry and received several international literary awards.

She has also presented Islamic history through English poetry in one of her books.

Aaqib Javed is a former Pakistan Test and ODI cricketer and currently serves as head coach of the Pakistan cricket team across all formats. He is also a member of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s Men’s National Selection Committee.

Following news of the wedding, people from both the cricket and literary circles have extended congratulations to the newly married couple and both families.
