Three Adiala Jail Inmates Sent to Attock Jail After Mobile Phones Recovered

RAWALPINDI:Three inmates at Adiala Jail have been transferred to Attock Jail after mobile phones were recovered from them during a search operation, while five jail employees were suspended for alleged negligence.
According to jail sources, mobile phones were recovered from Raja Raad, who is serving a sentence in the murder case of a traffic warden; Malik Hamad, who is incarcerated in the murder case of a Punjab Prisons Department employee; and another inmate, Shazib, son of Akram.
Following the recovery of the mobile phones, all three inmates were shifted from Adiala Jail to Attock Jail.
Five jail personnel were also suspended for allegedly failing to prevent the prohibited devices from reaching the inmates.
