Aleema Khan Appeals for Immediate Medical Treatment of Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Amid growing concerns over the health of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former prime minister Imran Khan, his sister Aleema Khan has once again appealed for his immediate transfer to a hospital for a comprehensive medical examination and treatment.

Speaking about Imran Khan’s health, Aleema Khan said she had been continuously demanding since February that her brother be provided with proper medical care and access to treatment. She claimed that Imran Khan’s family, doctors and lawyers had not been allowed to meet him for the past seven months, raising further concerns about his health.

“Treat Imran. We have been demanding since February that he be given the right to receive medical treatment,” Aleema Khan said, appealing to the authorities to understand the family’s distress.

She questioned the authorities, saying that if someone’s mother or brother were ill at home, what would their first priority be? She called for Imran Khan to be immediately shifted to a hospital in the presence of his family and lawyers, where he could undergo a complete medical examination by qualified and experienced doctors.

Aleema Khan said that when a person’s mother or brother falls ill, the family immediately seeks medical examination and treatment. In the same way, she said, Imran Khan should also be provided timely and appropriate medical facilities.

She urged the authorities not to ignore the former prime minister’s health any further and to take his family’s concerns seriously by ensuring immediate medical treatment and access to doctors of his choice.
