Major Banks to Be Shifted to Red Zone in Kharan Amid Security Concerns

Kharan: Authorities have decided to relocate several major banks in Kharan to the city’s Red Zone in view of the prevailing law and order situation.

According to sources, the branches of the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), Meezan Bank, Bank AL Habib, United Bank Limited (UBL), and MCB Bank will be moved from the main market area to the Girls Hostel building located within the Red Zone.

Sources said the relocation process is expected to be completed within one week as part of measures aimed at enhancing the security of banking operations and protecting staff and customers.

No official statement has yet been issued by the concerned authorities or the banks regarding the implementation timeline or any changes to banking services during the relocation.
