National Savings to Hold Rs1,500 and Rs100 Prize Bond Draws on August 17

KARACHI: Pakistan’s National Savings will hold the prize bond draws for Rs1,500 and Rs100 denomination bonds on August 17, 2026, giving thousands of bondholders a chance to win cash prizes.
The Rs1,500 prize bond draw will take place at the National Savings Centre in Faisalabad, while the Rs100 prize bond draw will be held at the National Savings Centre in Multan. The official results will be announced on the same day.
Rs1,500 Prize Bond Rewards
The Rs1,500 prize bond draw offers the following prizes:
First Prize: Rs3,000,000 (one winner)
Second Prize: Rs1,000,000 each (three winners)
Third Prize: Rs18,500 each (1,696 winners)
The Rs1,500 bond remains popular among investors due to its relatively low purchase price and higher number of prize winners.
Rs100 Prize Bond Rewards
The Rs100 prize bond draw includes the following prizes:
First Prize: Rs700,000 (one winner)
Second Prize: Rs200,000 each (three winners)
Third Prize: Rs1,000 each (1,199 winners)
Because of its low denomination and quarterly draws, the Rs100 prize bond is among the most widely held prize bonds in Pakistan.
How to Check the Results
After the official draw, bondholders will be able to verify their results through the National Savings Pakistan prize bond results portal by selecting the bond denomination, choosing the draw date, and searching for their bond number or downloading the complete winners’ list.
Eligibility for the Draw
Any person holding a valid prize bond of the relevant denomination is eligible to participate, provided the bond was issued at least 60 days before the draw date. Prize bonds can be purchased from authorized National Savings Centres and other approved outlets before the applicable cutoff period.
Tax on Prize Money
Prize winners will be subject to withholding tax on their winnings. Filers will pay 15%, while non-filers will be charged 30% withholding tax on the prize amount.
