WhatsApp Introduces New Media Viewer Redesign in Android Beta
Islamabad: WhatsApp has begun rolling out a redesigned media viewer for its Android beta version, introducing new features aimed at making it easier for users to interact with photos and videos.
The updated interface allows users to react and reply to images and videos directly while viewing them in full-screen mode, eliminating the need to exit the media viewer.
The redesign includes a quick emoji reaction bar, a full emoji panel, and a “+” button that provides access to additional reaction options.
Users will also be able to send text messages, photos, videos, and voice notes directly from the chat bar located at the bottom of the media viewer.
The feature is currently available only to a limited number of Android beta testers. WhatsApp has not yet announced when the redesigned media viewer will be rolled out to all users.
