13 Killed as Tourist Plane Crashes in Peru

Lima:A tourist aircraft carrying passengers on a sightseeing tour of Peru’s famous Nazca Lines crashed shortly after takeoff, killing all **13 people** on board.
According to Peruvian authorities, the victims included **11 passengers** and **two crew members**.
The small aircraft departed from **Pisco Airport** shortly after **1:00 p.m. local time** before crashing moments after takeoff.
The flight was carrying tourists on an aerial tour of the **Nazca Lines**, the UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its giant ancient geoglyphs visible from the air.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
