Seven Killed, Ten Injured in Separate Shootings and Road Accidents Across Dera Murad Jamali Region

Dera Murad Jamali: At least seven people, including a woman and her young son, were killed and ten others injured in separate incidents of shootings and traffic accidents reported in Dera Murad Jamali and adjoining districts, police said.
According to police, a speeding Mazda truck ran over a motorcycle carrying several passengers near DC Chowk in the main bazaar of Dera Murad Jamali. A woman, identified as Salma, wife of Abdul Ghaffar, and her young son, Abdul Sattar, died on the spot, while Allah Ditta and Sultan Ahmed sustained serious injuries. The truck driver fled the scene after the accident.
Police and rescue teams shifted the deceased and injured to the Teaching Hospital in Dera Murad Jamali. The truck was taken into police custody, and a case has been registered. Authorities said the victims belonged to the Jakhrani tribe and were residents of Mir Hassan Piru Pal.
In a separate incident within the jurisdiction of Notal Police Station in Naseerabad district, unidentified armed motorcyclists opened fire near Goth Sufi Wah, killing Rahmatullah Bugti and another man before fleeing the scene. Police launched a search operation after registering a case and collecting evidence.
In Jhal Magsi district, a young man identified as Qurban Ali, son of Ghulam Hussain Magsi, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle in the New Goth area. His body was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Gandawah before being handed over to his family.
Meanwhile, near RD-238 in Sohbatpur, an ongoing tribal clash entered its second day, leaving two people dead and eight others injured in an exchange of gunfire between rival tribes. The victims were shifted to the Civil Hospital in Sohbatpur for medical treatment.
Police said investigations are underway into all the incidents, and efforts are being made to arrest those responsible for the shootings and the hit-and-run accident.
