Attack on Sessions Judge in Mastung Is an Assault on the State, Judiciary, and Constitution, Says MNA Nawabzada Jamal Raisani

QUETTA: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Member of the National Assembly Nawabzada Jamal Khan Raisani has strongly condemned the cowardly terrorist attack on Sessions Judge Abdul Hakeem Kakar in Mastung, describing it as an attack on the writ of the state, the judicial system, and the Constitution of Pakistan.

In a statement, Raisani said that targeting the custodians of law and justice is unacceptable under any circumstances and constitutes a direct assault on the state’s institutions and constitutional order.

He urged the provincial government to take immediate, decisive, and indiscriminate action against the terrorists involved in the attack, as well as their facilitators and patrons. He stated that the time has come for the state to respond firmly to terrorist elements so that no one dares to threaten the peace and stability of Balochistan in the future.

Nawabzada Jamal Raisani warned that the malicious designs of those seeking to destabilize Balochistan would fail, as they have in the past. He asserted that the people of Balochistan stand shoulder to shoulder with the country’s security forces in the fight against terrorism and remain committed to thwarting every hostile conspiracy aimed at undermining peace in the province.

The PPP lawmaker further stated that the province’s conscious and resilient people have become a solid wall against terrorism and will continue to support all efforts to preserve peace, security, and the rule of law.

Concluding his statement, Raisani prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs, patience and strength for their bereaved families, and the swift and complete recovery of those injured in the attack. He reiterated the need for national unity and unwavering resolve in confronting terrorism and safeguarding Pakistan’s constitutional institutions.
