Malaysia Will Deport Any Israeli Citizen Found in the Country, Says Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has reiterated his government’s longstanding policy of not recognizing Israel, stating that any Israeli citizen found in Malaysia will be deported immediately.

The statement reflects Malaysia’s firm foreign policy stance regarding Israel and follows reports suggesting that Israeli nationals may have entered the country by using dual citizenship documents in connection with a technology project known as “Network School” in the state of Johor.

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim made it clear that Malaysia has no diplomatic relations with Israel and will not compromise on matters concerning national security or its established political position.

According to reports, Malaysian authorities are closely monitoring the situation involving the alleged presence of Israeli citizens in the country. The Prime Minister emphasized that if any Israeli national is identified in Malaysia, appropriate action, including immediate deportation, will be taken in accordance with the government’s policy.

Malaysia has consistently maintained its position of not recognizing the State of Israel and has imposed restrictions on the entry of Israeli passport holders for decades.

The Malaysian government has reaffirmed that safeguarding national interests and upholding its foreign policy principles remain among its top priorities.
