Trump Warns Iran of Expanded Strikes if No Agreement Is Reached

Washington:U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a fresh warning to Iran, saying the United States will expand its military campaign to target Iran’s power plants and bridges if Tehran refuses to reach an agreement.

In a recent interview, Trump said U.S. military operations against Iran would continue “until I decide that enough is enough.”

He claimed that U.S. officials held talks with Iran on Tuesday and urged Tehran to agree to a deal, adding that energy infrastructure would be considered in the final phase of any expanded military campaign.

Trump warned that if Iran refuses to negotiate or no agreement is reached, the United States could target Iranian power plants and major bridges as early as next week.

“We will destroy all of Iran’s power plants and all of its bridges,” Trump said, adding that Iran was still capable of continuing the conflict but claimed its remaining military capacity was limited.

The U.S. president also appeared to reverse his earlier remarks about imposing a **20% toll** on vessels transiting the **Strait of Hormuz**. Less than 24 hours after raising the idea, Trump said he disliked the concept of charging tolls in the strategic waterway and did not believe anyone should collect transit fees there.

Trump further claimed that Gulf states would prefer to invest in the United States rather than pay toll charges for using the Strait of Hormuz.
