Remote-Controlled Bomb Explodes Near Dera Murad Jamali, Damages Road and Bridge

DERA MURAD JAMALI: A remote-controlled roadside bomb exploded near Mir Hassan, on the outskirts of Dera Murad Jamali, damaging a section of the road and a nearby bridge, police said.

According to police, the explosion occurred within the jurisdiction of the Mir Hassan Police Station. The blast caused damage to the road infrastructure and the adjacent bridge, but no casualties were immediately reported.

Following the incident, police and security forces rushed to the scene, cordoned off the area, and launched a search operation.

Police officials believe the explosive device may have been intended to target an important personality but detonated prematurely before the intended target reached the location.

Authorities are continuing their investigation while security forces search the surrounding area for any additional threats.
