Four Killed, One Injured in Separate Shooting Incidents in Dera Murad Jamali

Dera Murad Jamali: At least four people, including a woman, were killed and one person was injured in separate shooting incidents reported in different areas of Dera Murad Jamali and its surrounding districts, police said.

According to police, unidentified motorcycle-riding gunmen opened indiscriminate fire at a livestock market in Chattar City, within the jurisdiction of Chattar Police Station in Nasirabad district. As a result, Syed Mumtaz Shah was killed on the spot, while Syed Badal Shah sustained critical injuries. The attackers fled the scene before police arrived. The injured man was initially shifted to the Teaching Hospital in Dera Murad Jamali and later referred to Larkana due to his critical condition. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.

In another incident in Goth Mirwah, under Khankot Police Station in Tambo, unidentified armed assailants shot and killed a woman, identified as Sardaran Bibi. Police believe the attack was linked to an old personal enmity. A case has been registered, and efforts are ongoing to trace the suspects.

In a separate incident in Goth Sultan Hajwani, within the limits of Saddar Police Station, a young man identified as Ayaz Ali died after he was accidentally shot. According to his family, the pistol discharged while it was being cleaned. Police have launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.

Meanwhile, in Usta Muhammad, a man identified as Nizam Ali was critically injured during an armed clash between two rival groups near the Baledi Bypass. He was taken to the Civil Hospital but later succumbed to his injuries during treatment. Police have registered a case and intensified efforts to arrest those involved.
