Pakistan Commemorates 27th Martyrdom Anniversary of Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed, Nishan-e-Haider

Pakistan is observing the 27th martyrdom anniversary of **Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed, Nishan-e-Haider**, paying tribute to his extraordinary courage and sacrifice during the Kargil conflict.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Armed Forces of Pakistan, Field Marshal Asim Munir, the Chief of the Naval Staff, and the Chief of the Air Staff honored the national hero on the occasion.
On **July 7, 1999**, Havaldar Lalak Jan courageously defended his military post despite repeated enemy attacks. Although he was critically wounded, he refused to evacuate and continued leading his comrades in battle.
He fought bravely until his last breath, ultimately embracing martyrdom while defending the country’s frontlines.
The ISPR stated that Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed’s timeless sacrifice remains a symbol of bravery, steadfastness, and selfless service, continuing to inspire generations of Pakistanis.
