NAB Launches Probe into Alleged Multi-Billion Rupee Corruption in Matiari Development Projects

Matiari: Pakistan’s National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has launched an investigation into alleged multi-billion rupee corruption in development projects carried out in Matiari district.
According to reports, a NAB investigation team has initiated inquiries against contractors and government officials over alleged financial irregularities linked to development schemes.
As part of the investigation, the team has taken into custody official records from the Public Health Engineering Department, Roads Department, and Education Works Department.
NAB has also sought detailed records of development projects executed by the three departments between 2012 and 2017 as it examines the alleged misuse of public funds.
The investigation is currently in its initial stages, and no findings of wrongdoing have been officially announced.
