Saudi-Led Coalition Warns Houthis of Strong Response to Any Attack on Saudi Arabia
RIYADH:The Saudi-led military coalition has warned Yemen’s Houthi movement that any attack targeting Saudi Arabia would be met with a “strong and exceptional” response.
According to international media reports, the warning came after the Houthis accused Saudi Arabia of violating Yemeni airspace.
The Houthi movement said that if the alleged airspace violations continue, it could target Saudi airports as well as key infrastructure on land and at sea.
In response, the Saudi-led coalition issued a statement warning the Houthis against carrying out any attacks on the Kingdom.
The coalition said that any attempt to target Saudi Arabia would be met with a **”powerful and extraordinary”** military response.
The exchange of statements highlights ongoing tensions between the Saudi-led coalition and the Houthis amid continued regional security concerns. Neither side’s claims regarding the alleged airspace violations have been independently verified.
