Islamabad High Court Announces Two-Month Summer Vacation Schedule, Judges’ Availability

Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) will begin its two-month summer vacation from Wednesday, with the court issuing a detailed schedule of judges’ availability during the holiday period following approval by the Chief Justice.
According to an office order issued by the Deputy Registrar General, Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar will remain available throughout the vacation and will not take leave.
The schedule for other judges is as follows:
Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan will remain available during July and will be on leave throughout August.
Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir will be available from July 1 to July 14, on leave from July 15 to July 31, available again from August 1 to August 16, and on leave from August 17 to August 31.
Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro will be on leave during July and available throughout August.
Justice Muhammad Azam Khan will be available in July and on leave in August.
Justice Muhammad Asif will be on leave during July and available in August.
Justice Inam Amin Minhas will remain available from July 1 to July 26 and will be on leave from July 27 to August 31.
The High Court will continue hearing urgent matters during the summer vacation, including pre-arrest and post-arrest bail applications, habeas corpus petitions, previously fixed cases, stay order matters, and other cases requiring immediate attention.
The filing branch will remain open throughout the vacation period. Court proceedings will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. during the holidays, while on Fridays, court hours will be 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
Administrative offices of the Islamabad High Court will remain open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday through Thursday and Saturday, while Friday office hours will be 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m..
