Government Cuts Jet Fuel Price by Rs7.15 Per Litre

KARACHI:** The government has reduced the price of jet fuel by Rs7.15 per litre, providing relief to airlines through lower fuel costs.

Following the reduction, the new price of jet fuel has been set at Rs231.72 per litre.

The price cut is expected to lower operating expenses for airlines, as aviation fuel accounts for a significant portion of flight operating costs.

Before the recent conflict in the Middle East, the price of jet fuel stood at Rs188 per litre.
